Why oh why will companies and publishers not use the "free look inside" for customers (Amazon offers this). It's so hard to look at a piano book and determine what songs are in it, and if so, what the arrangements look like if we think we can play. Anyway, I ordered this book, not unhappy, but not completely happy. Some songs seem very difficult, some seem very easy. I buy from Amazon most of the time, quick, easy, and I love gthe one-click purchase. I'll keep this book, but when I go to song books or music sheets looking for a book, etc., I want to see an example of the songs, or the Table of Contents. I'm going to list what I can in this review for you all.I don't think this is a beginner book, but I'm not sure it would be considered advanced either. Somewhere in the middle. I learned to play when I was young, and just starting over, so I want something not for kids, but I don't want something that an experienced professional pianist plays. I also did not grow up learning to play chords, it was left hand and right hand. Now I'm trying to learn chords. Seems too many to remember to me. I really don't like that you can't view the pages on the inside before you purchase this. I like most of the songs in this book however, they are not as easy as I had hoped they would be. I am a 30 something very new beginner, with no music in my past. These songs are not ones that I can just sit down and play. They are ones that I will have to build up to. So it will be something that I add to my collection for the future.

I ordered this collection because I wanted a challenge, and I knew hymns could be hard. The arrangements are easier for beginner or intermediate players, but the actual key seemed to be off in most pieces. The harmonies were strange, and the hymns did not actually sound like they should. Due to strange keys and strange arrangements, I ended up returning this book, and I would not recommend it.

The arrangements are a bit weird. I wouldn't have chosen the notes the arranger put together.

I love this book! I haven't taken piano lessons in years, but can slowly sight read. This book is great! The songs easy yet still sound good. I am able to play it and have a hymn sing a long with my family. Just what I was looking for!

The song books are being used at a local nursing home,prior to our church service there. I play the piano ,and the old folks sing along from the 13 books I bought..we need more,as more of the residents are coming early to sing hymns with us. It was their request to have books that were large print,and something they could easily follow. Thanks for making such a great songbook..God is using it !!! :)

This was a good find. Most of the songs are one to two pages long. The format is large and perfect for the Intermediate pianist. I wanted a hymn that was mostly traditional I am glad that I found it at Amazon. It was a bit cheaper here than at Sheetmusicplus. So I ordered it. I am happy with it.

Great guide book that made the trip easy. I have noticed that I have slightly different preferences than Rick Steves and often needed more time in the museums than Rick recommends. I love that Rick's guide books have a walking tour of the city to get a flavor for the city and see some interesting (mainly) outdoor sights.

Love Rick Steves books. I used to purchase Fommer's for my trips and it was very informative, however, once you take one of Rick's books you never go back. Very informative, up to date information, always includes his honest opinion about his recommendations. The maps and the walks are also very helpful. His books are not only informative but also very entertaining reading. Love them all. Thanks Rick.

Worth its cost just for the one day itinerary. In Copenhagen for a long layover, and covered so much ground using Rick's itinerary.

This was really useful when touring Odense and Copenhagen. The recommended walking tour of Copenhagen led us to sites we wouldn't otherwise have seen (the astronomical clock inside of City Hall) or appreciated (the Weather Ladies) or the former whipping post. We left it in Copenhagen for the next tourists to enjoy.

I guess I should have known by the title "snapshot", but this is actually just the Copenhagen section of the Scandanavia book of his, published separately. I have that full book already, so for me this was a waste of money. It's good material, though, just that I thought it would be expanded content (usually the more specific the subject, the more detailed the content...?), which it isn't at all.Anyway, it would have been nice to make that clear in the description so I would have known before ordering it (it's on the back cover of the book so in a store I would have seen it right away).

Rick Steeves book on Copenhagen is very easy to read and gives lots of information on how to get the best out of a stay in the city. I would recommend it to anyone planning on traveling to Copenhagen to buy this book.

Rick Steves Copenhagen helped me plan a successful trip to Copenhagen. Clear directions, instructions, maps were helpful and the book gave a nice narrative on points of interest.

This would be better if it were a pocket edition. It is literally just a piece of his bigger book- no map inserts and it's all black and white.
