Joi Barrios is a Lecturer in Filipino Language and Philippine Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. She received her Ph.D. from the University of the Philippines Diliman. If you don’t know Tagalog at all, I suggest starting with the beginner version of this book. As an aspiring ESL teacher, I really enjoyed the way this workbook was set up. I have been experimenting with different brands of language learning books and CD programs and I have to say this is top five!

I ordered this book "used" and it was brand new and untouched. Taught me how to speak Tagalog/Filipino a bit better, too, for my classes. Salamat po!

Great little book. The author supplies pertinent information on several levels of owning a classic that apply to all makes and brands. I have read several books on owning classic cars but non better then this one. This book is a quick read, to the point and what is repeated is necessary for the topic at hand. Even if you are not in the market for a Rolls Royce or Bentley 70% of the text will help with what ever marque you might be interest in.

Required reading for any potential Rolls-Royce purchaser. Clearly spells out the necessary steps toward ownership.

This is a great book for anyone interested in buying a Rolls Royce and also serves as a historical narrative giving a detailed history of the company. I knew more about Rolls Royce and Bentley than the average person I would estimate and found it to be very informative as it filled in some of the gaps in my knowledge of the M&A's in addition to substantial detail on early models and production numbers.

Great book which gives a lot of condensed information of real value to someone considering purchase of a Rolls Royce or Bentley. Not a lot of information about the newer models from the early 2000s and forward - perhaps that will show up in a future volume.? But a great source of facts and details up through the RR Spirit and associated Bentley models.

I'll never have a Rolls or a Bentley, but it was interesting to read about them. The book is very well written and edited. When I got to the back I found out the author is a former editor so it was nice to read something properly punctuated and free of typos for a change.
