This book is titled as an adventure book, but it is not. It should be called 500+ All-American Historical Sites & Museums. Although educational my family and I do not consider these types of destinations as "Adventures".

I'm really enjoying this book. Every time I read about the activities in a state, I want to pack the kids in the car and head out on a trip right away. The book is a great launching off point for planning a fun and memorable family vacation, plus I like all the historical tidbits provided for many of the places.

I really miss the maps in this book!!! This is the first travel book I have seen WITHOUT MAPS!!! There is one at the beginning of every chapter showing where the state is in the USA, but you really cannot use this book if you are planning a road trip and want to find sights nearby. You have to google every sight first... So it really sucks, hard to use.

My 2 1/2 year old twins have recently become interested in tractors so I bought this book so they could learn more about them. The book is nice because it has just a couple sentences and something for kids to feel on each page. The textures don't feel real accurate but my kids enjoy touching them regardless. The book is also the perfect size for toddlers to hold in their small hands and it will easily slip into a diaper bag or good-size purse if you are out and about. I think it's a good book for kids who are interested in tractors and it gives them a basic idea of what the objects feel like. I would recommend this good board book for anyone who has a toddler who likes tractors or for any John Deere fan!

My almost 3 year old son loves tractors with all his heart. I don't share his passion so for me this book is boring as all get out but to him it is pure magic. We have a sizeable book collection of mom-approved stories and child-approved fact books. This one is his very favorite. He will go from family member to family member to get us all to read this over and over. If your child loves tractors it's a must have.

I probably should have read the description better, but this book is not that great. It's only like 5 pages (been a while since I have read it). The sensory part is disappointing. It seems like they picked the cheapest materials they could find for the "touch and feel parts" as they feel not even close to what they should. My son liked it for a few days before he moved onto better tractor books.

I'm very surprised at all the glowing reviews because this book is very thin & flimsy, not to mention that it's really more appropriate for a much younger child. My son (22 months old) looked through it excitedly twice then got bored. It's got 4 pages, not including covers, so to me it's just not worth it. The "Tractor Steering Wheel Play-a-Sound Book" would be a much better buy if your little one is a fan of tractors like mine is.

I bought the book for Christmas but couldn't wait to give it to my 2 year-old grandson. He's in potty-training and is a real little man who loves to "read" books while in the "library". He loves, loves, loves tractor's and it took me about 15 minutes to get him off his potty chair after he'd finished his business because he didn't want to put the book down. He loves the pictures and all the textures and a couple days later was pointing out the differences in the tractor's he was seeing as we were driving. If you have a toddler tractor-loving son or grandson, he'll love this book.

We are a farming family that is all about John Deere so we had to have this board book. Its the perfect size to take along and easy to handle. I like the tactile or "feeler" pages as you can actually feel them unlike some other tactile learning books. I am a little disappointed as there aren't many examples of crop farming which is what we do (it has examples of mostly ranching and construction). The only thing I'm hesitant about is the tactile surface for the "spiky grass". I hope little pieces don't come off if my little one picks at it. I'll try to post an update about that and the durability later. Stay tuned!

My Two-year old grandson loves this book and "reads" it before playing with his little tractor toy. Contrary to other reviews, he hasn't torn out the feely things, although he likes to tear paper books. One reviewer said it was too short, apparently not for my grandson. After all, how long is a two-year olds attention span? - about 1 second, so the 4-5 board pages are fine.

This is a good book for babies and toddlers. It is cute, good pictures, cardboard pages, and my kids love the touch and feel aspect of it! I have read this book to them many times since we received it! My only complaint is I wish it was longer, it is a very short book. Shipping was fast and my kids love it so overall I am very satisfied with this purchase!

The book was just as expected! Coloring was beautiful on the cover and the pages are nice and clean! Great for any age!

I have really enjoyed just being able to write a few lines about my day. Something funny my kids did. The small everyday things that eventually make a life. There is not this big overwhelming space to fill and for this period in my life it is perfect. Someday after three kids are grown I will have more time for journaling and I will be so thankful that I had a spot for all the little memories from when they were little. So much is forgotten and I am thankful for this book.

My mom loved this as a gift. It got her to start journaling for the first time in decades. She says it has helped her to "spend meaningful time" with herself

I love the idea of this; to be able to look back and see what you were doing five years ago. The only problem is I'm starting to realize how boring my life is.

Bought this for a friend and they absolutely love it. It is bigger than the one I have and I believe that is a good thing for people who write a littler larger.

It's light and the pagers are thin. I prefer writing with a gel pen, but have to make a small tradeoff there. Otherwise a very nice journal.

Gave 3 away as gifts this year. First year is boring, second to 5th years are much more fun.

Wallpaper city guides aren't quite like your average guide--they focus on the architecture, art, and design of the city. I particularly liked this little Bogota guide, as much of the information available for Colombia was quite underwhelming. This guide gave a great visual picture of the city, and gave me some great ideas for which neighborhoods to visit and which sites to seek out once I arrived. Another plus, it's very small, and while it has limited information, it's also extremely easy to carry around with you while touring the city.

I knew this wasn't going to be a standard guidebook. But the information it provides is so unsubstantial, so utterly useless, that I can't see it being helpful to anyone. There are only a couple examples in each section (shopping, restaurants) and they cater to very wealthy travelers. This guide managed also to make a number of sensationalistic claims about Colombia, with references to the former kidnap capital, the former murder capital (Medellin).

Seriously, these are not for everyone. If you love fabulous design and that is an important part of why you travel, Wallpaper Guides are the best!

Best pocket guides available, because they are the smallest, and actually fit in an actual pocket - imagine that. Have a map in back you can mark up, several blank pages to write your itinerary in. More "contemporary" than most guides, many average tourists won't like. Younger people may. We did.

not a travel guide at all,but it has beautiful pics,and interesting points of the city.The pics alone are worth the price.LOve this series,planning to buy several other city guides.

I recently spent a day and a half in Rome, and this was an almost-perfect guide to all of the sorts of things I like to do when I visit cities. I say "almost" because there's no map! The book lists the street address for each destination, but fails to include info on how to get there (e.g., bus lines, nearest subway stop). So: buy this as a handy guide to all things hip and happening, but also invest in an indexed street map so you can get where you want to go.
